Ariane and Todd first conceived of Baxter and Jeffrey almost 12 years ago, and are overjoyed to bring their story to life as a picture book after all this time! Please read their full bios on the ABOUT page.

Gabriel San Martin

ILLUSTRATOR

Gabriel has been illustrating children’s books for many years. His whimsical style is most evidenced by his knack for facial expressions -  readers can’t help falling in love with his characters as they see their own feelings of wonder, joy, fear, sadness and excitement reflected in his cleverly drawn emotions.

 

When Gabriel isn’t drawing us into Baxter and Jeffrey’s husting, bustling forest, he enjoys reading historical novels, exploring his new hometown (Madrid), and spending time with his children.
